Starcraft fans, here is something special for you today. A team of modders is working on a Starcraft Remake in Starcraft 2, and has released a brand new version of it.

According to its description, Starcraft: Mass Recall is a project that recreates the classic Starcraft and Brood War gameplay as well as the entire single-player campaigns within the Starcraft 2 engine. This mod is compatible with any Starcraft 2 version, including the free Starter edition.
Version 0.8 features 68 maps. 59 of them are from the original Brood War game, whereas 6 are from the 1998 demo campaign. Additionally, you can find three deleted/cut missions.
- If you wish to complete the update later, simply click the 'Play' button at any point to pause the download and run StarCraft II, or close the launcher. Unlike some of our other games, no background downloading will occur while StarCraft II is running. Data will resume downloading the next time you run the launcher. That's all there is to it!
- Download the client file from Blizzard (in my case StarCraft2EUen-GB.exe) With a hex editor open the.exe file. I used Bless Hex Editor for Linux, apparently Notepad for Windows can also do it; Look (as text) for the string d8:announce; Delete all lines from the start of the file until d8:announce.
